Ferry to Porto Santo
Whether by ferry or by plane - a visit to the neighbouring island of Madeira is definitely worth a visit. Porto Santo offers with its 10km long sandy beach the perfect addition to Madeira.

The "Lobo Marinho" ferry departs every day except Tuesday and Friday at 08:00 a.m. in the port of Funchal. After a travel time of approx 2:15hrs you reach the neighbouring island Porto Santo. The return journey from Porto Santo takes place depending on the day and the season between 06:00p.m. and 10:30p.m.
The ferry offers you the ambientees of a small cruise ship. In addition to an à la carte restaurant and a self-service restaurant, there are several bars inside and outside, small shops, rest rooms, a children´s playroom and a cinema.

The aircraft, a 19-seater JetStream 32, flies several times a day from Funchal airport to Porto Santo and back. The flight times are different in the seasons, flight time around 20 minutes.
