Day 1

Quinta Rochinha

Arrival and delivery of the rental car with all the required documents needed for the week. Ponta do Sol is your first destination. Dinner and overnight stay .

Day 2

Quinta Rochinha

Drive along the coast to the imposing Cabo Girão cliff that drops 580 meters deep into the sea!

Perhaps a trip to downtown Funchal will interest you with its colorful market and/or its botanical garden with year-round blooms? Or just relax .....

Day 3

Quinta do Arco (or Estalagem do Vale)

Drive along the coast to Ribeira Brava. The streets of this quaint town invite you for a lovely stroll. Continue your drive to Sao Vicente and Sao Jorge. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 4

Quinta do Arco (or Estalagem do Vale)

Enjoy the beautiful pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean or take a short hike on the Scottish -style Paul da Serra plateau or in the Rabaçal nature reserve, which is densely covered by heather and laurel. We have many hiking suggestions!

Day 5

Quinta das Vinhas

From São Jorge the journey goes today to the north-western tip of the island, Porto Moniz. The fascinating coastal road offers you wonderful views! In Porto Moniz is the sea swimming pool with natural pools made of lava rock. A very special swimming pleasure! Now continue along the southwest coast, make a detour to the lighthouse of Ponta do Pargo before you reach your next accommodation in Estreito da Calheta. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 6

Quinta das Vinhas

Take part in a boat trip to watch whales and dolphins in Calheta or go on another hike in the nature reserve of Rabaçal ... or just enjoy the beautiful garden of the quinta and relax by the pool area with a panoramic view. A detour to the Casa das Mudas cultural center is also worthwhile. Overnight at Quinta das Vinhas.

Day 7

Quinta Albatroz

From Calheta continue along the southcoast or continue São Vicente along the northcoast via Boaventura, São Jorge and Santana. Visit the tipical houses of Santana and continue on to Faial and Ribeiro Frio, a nature reserve on the island (The Laurissilva ). Continue through the Poiso and heard towards Santo Antonio da Serra and go down to Santa Cruz. Quinta Albatroz is situated down below the aiport in Santa Cruz. Enjoy the lovely pool area with access to the atlantic ocean. Dinner and overnight stay
